Sighthounds – born to run!

In September 2006 when I was in Dubai we could not participate in the Final “of the Saluki Beauty Contest “in Abu Dhabi, so my friends and I drove with five Salukis and a Borzoi into the Desert, in order to provide the Sighthounds for the daily necessary movement. As a Saluki-Fancier I favour the beauty of this race very much, therefore it had been a superb event to experience the dogs in their element. I am very sure, it will remain in my mind for ever. I often and gladly think of the Salukis: Jameela, Sheemaal, Shaheen, Sahur, Sapphire and Chisra as well as of the Barzoi Sheeba. I also enclosed these dogs into my heart.
